In Viva BodyStrength’s Pilates-inspired classes for Health and Well Being, you are trained to become more aware of your body’s strengths and weaknesses, using a unique set of exercises in progressively more challenging positions and with innovative exercise equipment. With regular attendance you should feel improvement in your posture and in your ability to maintain this good posture throughout the day. You will be taught to focus on correct breathing and movement patterns not only in the exercise class, but, importantly, in your everyday activities. It’s anticipated that, as your general strength, flexibility and coordination also improve, you will start to feel more freedom in your body movement and connection to how your body moves.
